Camping in Clifty Falls, IN- Aug 15-17, 2008

So the Alphabet Club decided to cross state lines and go for what hopes to be the first annual camping trip. For some, like the Wood's it was their first excursion under the stars while others like the Nye's had the camp fire cooking down to an art. For others, a game of throwing rocks at an errant beer can floating downstream,0 as shown in this pic, was just the ticket. I meanwhile just enjoyed the fresh air, hiking, and being away from the hospital.

Cincinnati Masters Tennis Tournament- July 30-31, 2008

So Kim and I both scored tickets from work for the tennis tournament, actually a pretty good one in the ATP Masters Series. I got to watch Nadal and the Bryan brothers for the first time which was very exciting. We even had a count going on how often Rafa picked at his wedgy per game. All this was of course preceded by our Andy Roddick sighting at Children's and my obvious amusement.

M for Madison Bowl- July 17, 2008

Everyone loves bowling, especially the alphabet club. I tried my hardest to break 100, while Brian and Jeff were rocking out the mid 100s.
