Sweet 16 and Sweet Sorrow- Mar 27, 2009

As a sort of last minute decision, Kim and I headed up to Indy to see my beloved Jayhawks play Michigan State in the Sweet 16. Kim wore her green and I my blue...in the end she won. Oh well, it was good to be surrounded by the crimson and blue and see some KU peeps. I would do it again.

Taiwanese Breakfast and KU basketball- Mar 22, 2009

I couldn't have asked for a better golden. It was filled with some good for me things-- sleep, exercise-- and some fun things--food, reading, KU basketball, shopping, and friends. Good times, good times.

Cajun or Bust- Mar 21, 2009

More of a bust actually. Turns out the hole in the wall place "on the bayou" is not so hole, and more so reservations. Oh well, Missy, Ndidi and I finally got to see Slumdog Millionaire and dinner at Thai Cafe was good too.

St. Patty's Day- Mar 18, 2009

I was on call the next day, so I just had one quick beer at O'Bryan's Irish Pub to celebrate the day. It was well worth it to see kilted men playing the bagpipes and enjoy the nice weather on the terrace.

Authentic Korean- Mar 15, 2009

We've been in search of a good, authentic Korean restaurant that doesn't reuse it's side dishes and we found just the restaurant in Asiana. We had the Asian people scout it out first and we'll definitely bring along the others now.

End of the Winter Dinner- Mar 13, 2009

Caroline had us over for our End of the Winter dinner and good times were had by all. Everyone got into the action and I left completely stuffed. Corey entertained us with his awkward sitting style, the pregnant duo abstained from the drink and Caroline had a ton of bev for us. What kind of people does she think we are?! :)

Ezra Alexander Foreman, 9lb6oz- Mar 12, 2009

Our class family just got one person bigger...and a giant baby at that. Ezra has more fat on his body than Mark and Tara put together and he's adorable. On a side note, it's weird being in a hospital as a visitor.

Nuvo and Mt. Adams- Mar 7, 2009

Sometimes you just have to treat yourself, so all my single ladies came out for a fancy pants meal and some dancing afterwards. Dinner was delicious and we burned it all off afterwards. Too bad we had to call it a little early, not really though, for rounding the next day.

The Nye's First Dim Sum Experience- Mar 7, 2009

Our little asian crew loves sharing the delights of dim sum and it was the Nye's turn to step into our weekend brunch world. I was pleased that they liked it and that Myles has some mad chopsticks skills...now if he'd only eat what he sticks.
