Since Kim and I are somewhat obsessed with Australia, we dragged everybody into celebrating the oh-so-splendid day with us at Wag Wednesdays at Habits, named by yours truly for their splendid Rag Fries.  So good beer, good food, good company.

After much date-changing, the alphabet club finally got in our Christmas celebration and it was well worth the wait.  Abby showed us all up again with her handmade cannolis and Zach Braff would be completely jealous of Jeff's still-in-the-packaging Desert Storm collectors cards.  I personally enjoyed my bump-it tremendously.

Black Swan and Awakenings- Jan 22, 2011

Kim and I finally got a chance to see Black Swan and I'm still having flashbacks of peeling back hangnails, etc.  We've decided that she's the white swan and I'm the black.  Not sure what that says about me.  Afterwards, to lighten the mood we all met up at Awakenings for a flight.

Random Wine Tasting- Jan 7, 2011

So a new wine bar opened in Oakley, so we decided to splurge the $5 and try it out.  Good times were had by all.  Oak-y, fruity, and with subtle textures of fun.

Thanksgiving at Home- Nov 25, 2010

It was a nice low-key Thanksgiving at home.  The key being Home.  We had a delicious meal at Aunt Wen and Uncle Ming's house and I got to spend some quality time with the fam and Wichita friends.  Can't ask for much more.

Last New Years in Cincy- Dec 31, 2010

Randomness insued for my last NYE in Cincinnati.  First dinner and wine at the batcave (unfortunately Kim was on call), then good 'ol Black Finn.  Less dancing this time as Laurel had reserved a room.

Home for the Holidays and a Wedding- Dec 24-26, 2010

It was a beautiful thing, being home with my family for Christmas.  While I felt a little bad to be ditching my team for a few days, it was worth it spending time with Grace.  We cut her hair and donated it, ate a ton, took my grandpa to his favorite restaurant- Red Lobster, and even attended a Chinese wedding.  A full little vacay.
