Med-Peds Picnic, Round 2- June 22, 2008

Our 2nd med-peds picnic meant a bit more to us as we actually knew people and the 4th years who were graduating. It was especially touching to see how close their class is.

Do Downtown Cincinnati- June 20, 2008

Sebastian and his wife Jennifer always seem to know what's happening in good 'ol Cincy, so that's how we ended up at Do Downtown Cincinnati. It was a great tour of the swanky downtown restaurants as we were able to get either an appetizer, drink, or dessert at 10 of Cincy's most upscale establishments.

Painting Party at the New Crib

To spice up our new Hyde Park fancy pants home, we decided to paint all but 2 rooms. To start out, Abby, Cheryl, and JT came over to help Kim and I brighten up our rooms as well as learn about impaired physicians.

Sex and the Crystal-less City- June 6, 2008

After some planning and anxiety on Crystal's part as we were all pretending to blow her off a bit, we successfully pulled off Crystal's suprise going away party. It's sad our lone prelim is heading off to Detroit. But, good times on the roof of One Lytle Place. I mixed some martinis, Crystal got a cake, and a little bit of dancing took place too.

K for Korean Barbecue- May 31, 2008

Now that the weather has been beautiful, we opted to hold an outdoor Alphabet Club at Abby and Jeff's. By the way, I have decided I love Korean barbecue thanks to Cheryl's mom's delicious marinade. I also learned that a little baby sauce goes a long way. What Dave and Corey learned was beware of the hammock. Plus, it was a little bit of a celebration for Thomas and Sharice who just bought a house and moved in today. It's a really cute house...and ready for baby. :) (at least that's what the MP class of 2011 pool is rooting for)

Taste of Cincinnati- May 25, 2008

Somehow, I dragged myself downtown post-call to meet up with the girls for some yummy food at the annual Taste of Cincinnati. It was packed with people and with all kinds of food. My favorite was the ginormous catfish sandwich though the sauerkraut balls, baklava, and cannoli's were good too. Afterwards he headed up to Crystal and Patty's rooftop deck to enjoy the city view.

Once de Mayo- May 11, 2008

For "J," we decided to hit up Jess and Corey's for a late celebration of cinco de mayo, make that once. Anyhoo, we potlucked the Mexican food, had some tres leches cake, and got rowdy at the poker table. I managed not to go bust first, in fact I was fourth-out, but not because of any personal poker skill.
